We’re looking for enthusiastic Drama Society members to contribute to our new blog! At the moment, the blog doesn’t have any established format or content, so it is genuinely up to you to decide what you want to write about. The only restriction is that it should be performing arts related and should at least be published on a semi-regular basis e.g. fortnightly or after regular events.
Some ideas you could pursue might be:
- Alternative reviews for other performing arts society shows
- Reviews for professional theatre productions
- Interviews with people involved professional theatre (perhaps with a particular slant towards physical or absurd theatre?)
- Op-ed pieces on anything theatre-related
Experience is not necessary – we’re trying to foster a space to improve journalistic writing and we aim to be as inclusive as possible.
If you have any ideas of what you might want to write, send it over to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Blog” in the subject line. We’ll review the idea and might add some suggestions, but as long as you’re happy to contribute as regularly as you can, we’re happy to publish (almost) anything.
So get applying, we look forward to seeing what you come up with!
